SELLING THE ACTOR
ACTING TIPS

The CONCEPT OF THE ACTOR AS A PRODUCT that must be SOLD is addressed. An understanding of who the artist is and how they will be best marketed is evaluated. THIS INVOLVES IMAGE (HAIR, MAKE-UP, AND CLOTHES), PROFESSIONAL PICTURES, RESUME, AUDITION VIDEOS, AND INTERVIEW TECHNIQUE, BOTH ON THE PHONE AND IN PERSON.  The camera is a wonderful tool for this area of the business. As well, actors are guided to the appropriate resources for agents, casting directors, managers, auditions, unions, etc.
